Saptashrungi Devi Temple (Vani) Nashik | Darshan Open

Nashik: The autumn Navratri festival and Kawad Utsav of the adored deity of North Maharashtra, Swayambhu Adishakti Saptashrungi Devi will start from October 7 in the presence of devotees after a gap of one year.

However, the administration has canceled the pilgrimage to the fort on this occasion and devotees will have to get an online pass for darshan as per the terms and conditions of covid. Preliminary planning has been done by the administration that 1200 devotees will be allowed to enter the temple per hour.

The administration will give special priority to the safety, health, and transportation of the devotees. A review meeting of all the administrative department heads was held under the chairmanship of Assistant Collector Vikas Meena. Navratri festival is being celebrated on the fort from 7th to 15th October and Kojagari full moon festival is being celebrated from 19th and 20th October.

The decision of the administration to make the condition of online pass for darshan and two-dose covid restrictive test for the pass or a test of a covid rapid test for 72 hours mandatory is a bit disappointing for the devotees.
Meena informed that the decision regarding the Yatra has not been taken by the administration at the review meeting but the decision will be taken by planning in this regard.

Ten ambulances will be deployed at the bus stand foot road along with the hospital, Ramatappa, and other places, he said. Presented by Dr. Anant Pawar.
